食べログ2023 TOKYO カレー百名店 受賞
代官山のビストロ『Ata』の掛川シェフが手掛けるスパイスカレー Good Luck Curry |
恵比寿駅から徒歩7分程度のところにあるカレー百名店『GOOD LUCK CURRY』さんへ。店舗は2階にありました。
テーブル席5つで10人ほど入れるコンパクトな店内。女性店主お一人で切り盛りされていらっしゃいました。
カレーのメニューは2種類のみ。日によって店主のオリジナルカレーが変化するようです。今日は『合鴨』と『スルメイカのトマトカレー』。
その「本日のカレー」の『合鴨のラグー ディルとミント』と『スルメイカのトマトカレー＆モッツァレラチーズ』をあいがけでいただきました。トッピングに玉子＆チーズを付けて。
『合鴨のラグーディル』の「ラグー（ragout）」の意味がわかりません。調べてみたらフランス語で「煮込む」という意味の言葉でした。煮込み料理全般を指し、素材が煮汁にちょうど隠れるくらいの量で、時間をかけて煮込む調理法とか。勉強になります。
また、「ディル」とは、セリ科イノンド属の一年草で、羽のような形の細くてやわらかい葉をもつハーブでした。
ワンプレートにバスマティライスとカレー、野菜サラダとアチャールが乗っています。なんと色鮮やかなカレープレートでしょうか。
『スルメイカのトマトカレー』はビターな感じ。サラサラっと入っていきます。モッツァレラチーズがいいアクセントに。
『合鴨のラグーディル』は、つゆだくの日本料理の鶏のそぼろのような感じ。和風のお出汁のような感覚もあります。これは食べやすい。でも反面カレー感はあまりない感じ。
途中サラダやアチャールを混ぜ込みながら美味しくいただきました。
