恵比寿駅から徒歩で5分強、勾配の強い坂を登った場所に位置するこちらのお店を利用。
今回は休日の18時に事前に予約をしてから訪れました。
席は2時間制となっており、かつ料理の提供は全体的にゆっくりなために早めの来店がおすすめです。
今回はコースではなく、アラカルトでキムチの盛り合わせに海鮮チヂミ、参鶏湯をいただきました。
食べてみた感想としては味が全体的にマイルドで日本人にとってはかなり食べやすい。
まずキムチは白菜のキムチ以外はかなり浅漬けといった印象で箸休めとして食べるのに良い味。
白菜のキムチはお店の自慢の一品のようでこちらはしっかり浸かっているものの、辛さはほとんどなく、日本人でも食べやすい味です。
海鮮チヂミもつなぎが少なく、かなり薄めでパリパリしており、これまた軽い仕上がりでかなり食べやすい味。
肝心の参鶏湯も辛さや脂っぽさとは無縁のさっぱりした味でした。
特に鶏に全くといっていいほど臭みがないこと、そして肉質も柔らかく、もち米のようなお米も味に深みを与えており、これまた美味。
圧倒的に他のお店と比べて絶品、という感じは正直しませんでしたが、食べやすい味で大衆に愛される理由がわかりました。
