恵比寿駅西口から徒歩3分、知る人ぞ知る通称”鳥”ビル、ビッグストーンの3階に入る「ファイヤーバード」にお邪魔してきました。こちらは自社で解体するからこその新鮮な鳥を”焼鳥”ならぬ串に刺さない”鶏焼肉”として楽しめるお店で、テーブルに設えた囲炉裏で自分で焼くというスタイルも楽しい1軒。
焼肉が少々キツくなってきた世代にもするりといただけちゃうから不思議です。ほとんどの方が注文するという「おまかせ鶏焼きコース」は税込5500円という神コスパ！飲み放題を付けることも可能だそう。
前菜は「地鶏のスープ」に能登は高農園さんの彩り豊かな「有機野菜のサラダ」続く鳥焼きひと品目は「京都産京紅地鶏のムネのネギ焼き」これがもう、絶っっっ品！包んだ葱が蒸され旨味がじゅわっとビールが進む！
大山鶏のモツの盛合せ3種はきらきらと輝く砂肝とハツ、レバー。辛味噌がまた良く合うのですよ。地鶏ホルモンの自家製みそ焼きも本当に美味しかった。合鴨と地鶏の合い挽きつくねは福島県産のジャンボしいたけと共に焼いてくださいます。堪らずにワインを！飲み放題にオレンジがラインナップしてるのも素敵。
ずっと囲炉裏に当たっているからか箸休めの輪島の手摘みもずくがひんやり火照りを静めてくれました。後半は地鶏モモの辛子焼き、地鶏せせりのたれ焼き、そして茨城県「西崎ファーム」さん直送のかすみ鴨盛り合わせ！これがなかなかの希少でして今まで食べてきた鴨のイメージを覆す逸品でした。
中でも赤身肉の濃厚な味わいは忘れられない美味しさ。〆には6時間かけてゆっくりと煮だした鴨出汁で作るという透き通った黄金スープの醤油ラーメンに茨城県「ごきげんファーム」さん直送平飼い卵の有精卵TKGという幸せ！
明らかに食べ過ぎなはずなのに嫌なお腹の張りもなく心地良い余韻に包まれる至福のコース。季節のお茶と選べる甘味はシャインマスカットをチョイスして大満足のコースなのでした。鴨セリ鍋も始まっていたのでまた来なくては！
