お昼ごはん
■豆腐麹の唐揚げ¥900（税込）

豆腐工房併設の豆腐料理店『豆腐食堂』。
ありそうでなかなかない豆腐料理店ということで、女性を中心に人気を博している。
親会社は、五反田を中心に肉料理や鶏料理の『それがし』や焼鳥の『とり口』などを運営する株式会社JO。
店内で製造される自家製の豆腐は、宮城で3代続く豆腐職人のもと、2名のスタッフがしっかり修業しイチから豆腐作りを学んできたそうだ。
週末のランチタイムに訪問。
12:00オープンで10分前で、すでに5組ほどの並び。続々と後続客が続く。12:00ちょうどにオープン。
お昼は、「豆腐御膳」が人気だが、「豆腐麹の唐揚げ」を注文。
オペレーションが早く、3〜4分で到着。「豆腐御膳」はもっと早く提供されていた。
メインの唐揚げは、大山鶏の胸肉を使用し、豆腐麹に漬け込み、唐揚げにしたもの。衣にはおからを使用している。衣は薄く、竜田揚げ風なのだが、胸肉なのであっさり。むしろ淡白すぎて、5個食べ切るのがキツかった。
定食には、そのほか大豆の煮物やおぼろ豆腐など。ごはんは¥300追加して変更した、豆腐めし。甘辛く煮付けた豆腐だが、かなりの大きさ。ごはんの量よりも多く、混ぜ合わせて食べればほぼ豆腐。普通の白ごはんでよかったかな笑。
豆腐好きにはたまらないだろうし、女性客が多いのも納得。豆腐は嫌いではないが、豆腐づくしはしんどいということがわかったのが、今回の収穫だ。
