I was looking for a place to have a light drink with a friend in Ebisu and found La Verdura. It's a casual restaurant where you can enjoy authentic French cuisine, so it's nice to drop in whenever you want. It's a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station, so it's easy to get to. There are about 34 tables available. ◆ Raw oysters ¥990 I visited early in the day, so there were no other customers and the food was served quickly, which was great. I chose raw oysters because I could choose from three types of oysters: raw, steamed, and grilled. The reasonable price of 990 yen for three oysters is irresistible. What's more, they were oysters from Hirota Bay in Iwate Prefecture. The large oysters were milky, juicy, and delicious. ◆ Charbroiled young corn ¥900 I ordered charbroiled young corn because I thought it would be interesting. What's more, it's amazing that it comes with an ear. It was my first time seeing young corn with an ear, but it does look like corn. I removed the ear and ate only the inside. I think the sauce was curry sauce and spicy. ◆ Wasabi coleslaw ¥500 I also had coleslaw. This was also an original menu and interesting. First of all, it is coleslaw made with wasabi instead of mustard. The combination of celery root and spring cabbage is also interesting. It was a bitter and spicy salad with a refreshing flavor.
