この日は大学の友人と数ヶ月ぶりの会食。以前から行こうと決めていたスペインバルにランチを予約した。代官山からは５分、渋谷からも７分程の少し雑踏からは離れたところにある。到着してお昼１２少し前にはお店が開き。スタッフが中に案内してくれた。
我々のグループが一番のようだ。席に着くと各々がこの日の気分次第でドリンクを注文。最初のドリンクは一人を除き、皆スパークリングワインをオーダーした。お料理は、事前にランチコースを頼んでいたこともあり、多彩なパエリアの中から、二種類のものを注文した。
オープニングのスパークリングワイン注文後は、ワインの銘柄が充実していることから、スペイン産の赤ワインを途切れることなく、ボトルでオーダーした。
この日のメインディッシュは先に注文しておいた二種類のパエリア。ひとつはバレンシアパエリア。ウサギと鶏肉を使ったバレンシア料理だ。もうひとつは、この店に来たら頼むと決めていた赤海老とイカ墨のパエリア。豪快な大皿２つでシェアして食べれるのが嬉しい。皆、大満足な逸品だった。
ランチコースで他にも様々な料理を堪能できるが、やはりこの店のお薦めは様々な種類から選べるパエリアの数々。是非、味わって頂きたい。希望される際には、食べきれない分のパエリアをパックに包んでくれます。
お会計を済ませて帰ろうとすると全３２席ある店内は、満員状態。来るときは必ず事前に予約して来店して頂きたい。
