代官山ログロードから階段降りた路地裏。
アメリカ南部の伝統的家庭料理が食べられる店。
土日営業でランチから通し営業が便利。
外観はアメリカンウッディ調で、古き良きアメリカを想わせる佇まい。
テラス席もあり。
店内に入ると店主が笑顔で迎えてくれました。
他客は皆んなハンバーガー食べていましたが、アメリカ南部の伝統料理を食べたかったのでパス。実は大好物のカルボナーラにも惹かれて葛藤しました…けどアメリカ料理じゃないしな、と我に返り笑
・チキンガンボライス（1200円）
アメリカ南部の伝統的家庭料理。ガンボライスはオクラなど野菜をシチューのようにスパイシーな味付けで煮込んだお料理、らしい。見ると野菜がこれでもかと溶け込んでいて、食べれば程よくスパイシー。飲み物のように胃袋に吸い込まれました。飲んだ次の日とかに丁度良さそう。野菜を大きめカットでゴロっとさせてチキンのボリューム増やすと更に満足度高くなるかな。
代官山で映え狙いならバーガーも良さげです。
若いスタッフさんのワンオペでしたが、フレンドリーで感じ良く居心地いい滞在でした。
次回はジャンバラヤを食べてみたいです。
