I decided to definitely eat here today! I headed to this restaurant during my break from work. It is a branch of Chef Ochiai's famous La Bettora. It's near my workplace in Shinjuku, so I've been there a few times, but I always eat a normal lunch... I finally decided to try the sea urchin spaghetti that I've always wanted to try Sea Urchin Pasta Set A set of four appetizers, soup, focaccia, fresh raw sea urchin spaghetti, and a drink, 2850 yen including tax. The A set is just over 1000 yen, and the fresh pasta set is just under 2000 yen, so it's quite high grade ✨ Previously, you could choose sea urchin spaghetti for an additional fee (I think +1000 yen) to the regular set, but it seems that the menu has changed since I last came. First, soup and focaccia. Next, four appetizers. The yellow one was pumpkin mousse. And the sea urchin spaghetti. It was topped with plenty of sea urchin! Ah, it was delicious! With so much sea urchin used, I thought I should be satisfied with the price, and savored it to the last bite. It wasn't a heavy cream base, but a slightly lighter one. I had some coffee after the meal, and it was a very satisfying lunch. I'd like to go to the main store, which is impossible to get a reservation at, someday, but this shop, which I can drop by casually, is a blessing.
