地下鉄丸の内線西新宿駅から徒歩3-4分。
都庁前からも同じくらい。新宿駅西口からも地下道を歩けば徒歩圏内の立地。
新宿勤務時代は会社から直ぐ近くであったので会食や会合などでは利用していたホテル。
一度はデザートブッフェなるものに行ってみたかった。また先日TVで当ホテルの『苺ブッフェ』が紹介されていたのもあり、意を決して訪問する。
14:30からのスタートにあたり10分前に到着するもロビーには既に長蛇の列。
全員予約なはずなのに何故？と思ったが‥
既に受付は始まっており、受付終わると席に案内され、取りに行けるシステム。
終わりの時間は同じため、少しでも早くという感覚なのかなぁと。
想定はしていたが、9割女性。笑
気にせず並ぶもひと通り取り、席に戻るまでかなりの時間を要する。
デザートは全て苺絡みのもの。
欲張りすぎて全種類を1巡目でお皿に取ったため、写真写りは非常にダメダメになってしまった。
デザートではない、食事、サラダや白身魚、グラタンなどがあったが、先ずはメインのデザート‥
これが大失敗‥
事前にしょっぱいもの食べてからが良いよーとの相方の忠告を無視してしまったため、甘いデザートは1巡目で取ったもので撃沈してしまった‥
『だから言ったのに‥』と‥
周囲を見渡すと、皆デザートブッフェのベテランなのか、普通の食事から入り、デザートを、そしてまた食事、デザートを繰り返していた。
とても美味しかったが、食べ方を完全に失敗してしまい心残りでした。
また、いつかリベンジします。
