新宿三丁目、末廣亭の周辺エリアにあるちょっと目立つ中華屋さん。意外に来たこと無く、初来店でした。平日の21時頃で半分ほど席が埋まってる感じ。カウンター席もあるので、1人でも利用しやすいですね。上の階とかもあるようでした。
お酒は、飲んでみたかった白酒のハイボールがあったので即決。聞いた話から勝手に強いお酒というイメージがあったのですが、こちらで頂いた白酒ハイボールはスッキリ飲みやすく、フワッと鼻に抜ける華やかな香りがあるお酒でした。強いて言うなら、ハーブやボタニカル系のジンにも近い印象かなと思いました。
まずはピータン。甘いタレがかかっていて美味しい。クセがあまり無くて食べやすいタイプ。パクチーも個人的には合う。
海老棒春巻。かなりすぐ来ましたがアツアツ出来たてで、皮がザックザクです。すごい散らかりますが止まらない美味しさ。中身たっぷり海老の旨味たっぷりで、皮というか油も美味しい。
楽しみにしていた小籠包。ボワッと蒸籠を開けてくれる瞬間の湯気すごい。よく見たらキッチンの湯気もすごかった。
見た目も綺麗、お箸でどうにかレンゲに乗せると皮がもちもちなのが分かります。ひとくちかじってスープをすすると旨味が染み渡りました。餡はシンプルにお肉ですが、スープは出汁の味わいがたっぷり感じられて最高でした。さすがの風格。
焼き餃子。あんまりにもバラバラで登場したので面白すぎてそのまま撮りました。でもおかげで、皮のもっちりずっしり感が伝わる写真が撮れました。小ぶりですが皮が厚めで、かなりボリュームを感じる食べ応えです。餡はあっさりしていますが、皮の甘みがあってほっこりする優しい味わいでした。
超お気に入りになった白ハイをおかわりして料理も追加。
特製ニラレバ。普段あまり選ばないメニューですが、メニューの中でものすごく目立つ書かれ方をしていたので気になって注文。レバーの上にニラが乗っている、混ざっていないスタイルなんですね。コロンとしたかたちのレバーは、中から旨味が溢れるようなジューシーさもありつつ、独特の食感と香りもありました。ニラはサッと油通ししたようなシャキシャキさがちょうどよくて、色もすごく鮮やかですね。味付けはもちろんお酒の進む塩気と、意外にサッパリした酸味もある感じです。特別ってよりはついまたひと口と進んでしまうような味でした。
ソフトシェルクラブ。箸で持つと、もう柔らかさが分かります。サクサクとフワフワの間くらいの食感で、香ばしい香りがたまりません。そのままでも旨味ありますが、ネギ入りの甘塩っぱいタレをかけて、おつまみ寄りですが良きメインにもなりました。
お店の方は、注文したい時にすぐ気付いてくれますし、料理が出てくるのもさすが中華ってスピードで、かなり使い勝手が良いのではないかと思います。いいレパートリーが増えました。
