西新宿で味わえるリゾート気分
今日は、「バリラックス・ザ・ガーデン新宿」でエスニック料理を味わいました。西新宿高層ビル群の一つ、野村ビルの地下1階にあるお店にもかかわらず、予想外に広く天井も高い店内は、南国リゾートの雰囲気に溢れています。
料理もバリ島で味わえるらしい(行ったことないので…笑)郷土料理を中心としたコースで、最初に出てきたのがソフトシェル海老のトムヤムクン 。頭から丸ごと食べられます。それから海老の生春巻き、牛カルビのシャリアピンサラダ、点心2種盛り（海老蒸し餃子、小籠包）、サテアヤム(バリ風串焼き)と続き、メインは2017年にCNNが発表した世界の料理ベスト50で1位に選ばれたルンダンと2位のナシゴレン。これがどちらもスパイシーで美味しい。
食事の間、バリの伝統楽器ガムランのライブ演奏などもあり、ちょっとしたリゾート気分を味わいながら、食事を楽しめました。
