【総評】
新宿駅西口から徒歩4分程。雑居ビル2階にあるステーキとしゃぶしゃぶをリーズナブルに頂けるお店です。
私の利用は専らランチのパンドラステーキ。このステーキは味付けが良くて値段以上の旨さがあります(^_^)
ちょっと筋っぽい部位なので細かくカットされていますが、普通の部位よりむしろ旨味は濃くて私はかなり好み。
最近はチェーンのステーキショップが乱立していますが、古き良き老舗のこちらは筋金入りの実力店だと思います。

新宿は超巨大な割にいまいちピンとくるお店が少ない街です。大手資本ばっかで面白みに欠けます(^_^;)
私的にテンションの上がらない新宿ですが、それでも絶対数が多いので中には昔から利用してる店もチラホラ。
今回久々に訪問したパンドラもそういった一軒です。ここのステーキがお得で美味しいのでたまに利用してます。
場所はヨドバシカメラがある小売りエリアの一角。雑居ビルの数フロアでステーキとしゃぶしゃぶを展開しています。
電飾街っぽいごちゃごちゃした街並みの雑居ビルなので、ここにステーキハウスがあるとは少々分かりにくいかも。
お店は2階ですが同じビルの4階に「パンドラ匠」というワンクラス上のお店も始めているみたいです。
ちなみに私が訪問したちょっと前にNHKの某番組「〇コちゃんに叱られる」の撮影があったらしいです(^_^;)
店内はファミレスっぽい空間で30席程と結構広いです。厨房は多分1人か2人。ホール担当の女性が2人。
BGMはベタにJ-POPですが、個人的には静か目のクラシックがジャズの方がこの雰囲気には似合う気がします。
メニューはステーキとしゃぶしゃぶにハンバーグや各種鉄板焼きまで。コース設定も色々あります。
上を見たらキリがないですが、この店の良いところは下(値段ね)を見ても結構イイ感じに品があることです(^_^)
で、私のチョイスは大体がパンドラステーキ。それをMAXボリュームの200gで頼むのが毎度のパターンです。
ドリンクバーからアセロラドリンクを取り分け、先行して出てきたサラダをササッと食べつつ焼き上がりを待ちます。
・パンドラステーキ200g 1750円
使っているのはアウトサイドハラミ？っていう部位らしいです。多分アメリカ産とかのハラミだと思います。
焼き加減はミディアム位でしょうか。クセとまではいかない軽めの風味がありますがこれは全然許容範囲。
筋張った部分と柔らかな部分が混ざっていますが、むしろ噛み応えがあって如何にも肉喰ってる感じです(^_^)
脂身のない締まった部位なのでこれくらいの細切れが丁度いいですね。3つ位纏めてワシワシ食べましょう。
ソースはにんにく醤油的な味です。ちょっと油ギッシュで締まった肉とすごく合います。ご飯にも最高！
食べる辣油なんてものついてきました。辛さは程々で旨味成分が強いタイプ。これ単品で中々旨いです。
ステーキにつけると味が強くなりすぎるので付け合わせのもやしの方に使いましたが、多分コレが正解です。

【最後に】
新宿でステーキといえばル・モンドが多分一番有名です。私も好きでパンドラと同じくらい利用しています(^_^)
この2軒は方向性も価格帯も近くて甲乙つけ難いです。僅差でル・モンド？パンドラ？毎回どちらか悩みます。
今回、かなり久々に訪問しましたがお得で美味しい路線に変わりがなく安心しました。多分また来ると思います。
本日のお勘定は〆て1750円。ご馳走様でした。
