After shopping at Isetan, my daughter and I had afternoon tea. I'm planning to relax here and wait for my mother to arrive. Usually, I have my grandchildren, so there are some things that are difficult to talk about in front of them, and I think that's one of the things I worry about as a wife and mother, so today I'm happy to be able to talk about it in detail as someone who is in the same position. . Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower is located at the south exit of Shinjuku Station. The 5th to 18th floors are office floors, and since the hotel starts from the 21st floor, the 20th floor is the front lobby, and the lounge is at the back. There are many hotels in Shinjuku, but the appeal of this one is that afternoon tea, which is usually held from 2pm to 5pm, can be booked from 12pm until the last day at 6pm, and is open until 8pm (9pm on Fridays). Moreover, depending on the reservation site, you can get it even cheaper than the usual 6,000 yen. This time it was 5000 yen only on weekdays. Since I had made a reservation for afternoon tea, I was guided to a window seat with a view of the night view. Most of the people sitting by the window were couples or women. There are many men in suits inside the central store, and the atmosphere is like a business meeting. 82 seats (8 seats at the counter) Since we were aiming for sunset, the roll curtains were hanging down, but they opened just in time. First, toast with sparkling wine (can be changed to non-alcoholic). The 3-tier stand was designed for one person at a time, rather than for two people, since my cousin was coming later. Drinks include 7 types of black tea, 5 types of flavorful tea, and 4 types of coffee, all free flow. However, even if I try hard every time I drink it, my stomach is full after 3 drinks (lol).Please refer to the photos for savory and Sweets. The Christmas season is from November 1st to December 25th, so the items are cute and grown-up with playful Christmas motifs created by the pastry chef. I think of afternoon tea as a way to enjoy the atmosphere, so I don't particularly look for flavor, but the drinks here were all fragrant and rich, which was a bit of a surprise. The Irish cream has a sweet vanilla scent, the lemon mint is refreshing, and the espresso at the end is definitely delicious. There are 2 cups in the pot, so if you share it with your daughter, you can drink 6 different flavors, but the sweet and sour taste of fresh berries and the fresh scent of white peach and bergamot linger. If you're visiting Shinjuku, it might be a good idea to pop in without a reservation and have some tea and Sweets. After this, I saw off my mother, who had arrived from Urawa, at Busta, and my brother met her in Osaka early in the morning, and apparently they returned home safely.
