新宿三丁目の飲食店が建ち並ぶエリアにあるジンギスカン屋さん。金曜の21時ごろに初訪問、ビルの3階にある。
店内は6から8人掛けのテーブル席がたくさんあって広め、お客さんの入りは半分ほどで、すぐに席へ案内された。
一年以上振りで久々のジンギスカンだったから、食べたくって仕方がなかった。お肉は大きく4種類あり、柔らかい順に二つを頼む。
・特上ラム(もも) ¥1,400
・上マトン(もも) ¥1,300
それぞれ4名以上だと2人前からで、味付きのラム肉だそう。おつまみも多様に揃っていて、北海道っぽいものを中心に頼む。
・じゃが塩辛 ¥780
・鮭のチャンチャン焼き ¥900
・韓国風チョレきゅうり ¥700
ドリンクはお酒類がだいたい400〜500円で比較的リーズナブル。カウンターにいろんな種類のお酒が並んでいる。
ジンギスカン鍋がセットされ、はじめは野菜とお肉をお店の方が焼いてくれる。まずは特上ラムから、焼くというよりタレで蒸すような感じ。
いい具合に焼き上がったら頬張ると、お肉柔らかくって美味ーい。続いて上マトンを焼く、こちらはラムより少々硬めだがこちらも柔らか、味付け濃いめなのでご飯が欲しくなる。
最後に残った汁で、「仕上げうどん ¥300」を焼く。いわゆる給食のソフト麺みたいなうどんで、ダレがよく染み込んでいい塩梅だった。
脇役もじゃがいもと塩辛は、ポテトに塩を振る感覚に近いから合うんだなーと感心。ちゃんちゃん焼きは、玉ねぎ多めの蒸し焼きでなかなかよかった。
チョレきゅうりはかなり辛かったので、お酒のつまみにはいいかな。全体的にジンギスカンを満喫できて満足できた。
お支払いにはクレジットカードが使える。一人2,500円しないくらいで、比較的リーズナブルだったので、また機会があったら来よう。
