この日は用事があって大久保へ。でも1時間も早く着いたので飲み屋で時間を潰すことに。そして、路地をぶらついて見つけたのが、何ともいい感じの佇まい、キャッチフレーズ「小さな居酒屋」かぶら屋だ。
店に入り、カウンター席へ腰を下ろし、メニューを見ると、焼鳥や黒おでんが1串80円～と超リーズナブル。他のお客さんも楽しそうに盛り上がっているし、期待に胸を膨らませながら、まずは飲み物を注文。
最初に選んだのはデンキブランのソーダ割り300円。そいつを一口グビッと呑んだら、お次は黒おでんと焼鳥。数あるラインナップの中から、黒はんぺん100円、大根100円、白焼(ちくわぶ)100円、ネギマ80円、はさみオクラ80円、はさみニンニク80円を注文。
黒おでんは、魚粉と青のりがかけられており、すっきりした良いお味でお酒が進む。そして何と言っても感動したのが焼鳥。ネギマはともかく、とろっとろのオクラやニンニクが挟んである焼鳥は、他のお店では滅多に見ることが出来ないレアもの。焼き立ての熱々だし、塩加減も上々、お味も格別で、さらにお酒が進む…ということで、デンキブランを飲み干して焼酎(酎五郎)298円をロックで注文。
さらに黒おでんが食べたくなったので、昆布80円、糸こん80円、ちくわ100円を注文。昆布は4切れが串に巻かれており、糸こんも上手に串へ巻いてある。これは面白いし、良い仕事だ…と言うことで、待ち合わせ時間が近づいてきたので、お勘定を済ませて、そろそろ移動することに。
とても良い雰囲気だし、お酒も料理も値段以上の満足感が得られた「かぶら屋」さん。久々にヒット…というよりもホームラン的なお店に巡り会いました。
調べてみると、近所の立川や国分寺にもお店があるとのことで、今度はそちらにも顔を出してみたいと思います。どうもご馳走様でした！
