都営大江戸線「東新宿」駅近く、韓国料理店「辛ちゃん 本店」。
マンションの半地下のような場所だが、奥まった場所にあるので穴場的な雰囲気がある。
でも、元・東方神起のジェジュンのファンにはお馴染みの店らしい。
ジェジュンが、何度も訪問している店だと聞いた。
池袋から都営大江戸線の北側半円駅を利用する場合、この東新宿駅までメトロの副都心線で来て乗り換えるコトが多い。
メトロ⇔都営線の相互乗り換えの割引対象の乗り換え時間が、今年の６月頃から30分から60分に延長されたので、軽くメシを食うコトも可能になった。
この店、東新宿駅至近である。
職安通りを西へ進み、ものの２，３分。
ビルのようなマンションの半地下なのだが、通りからはわかりづらい。
ランチである。
僕の好みの一つがあったので、ソレにした。
韓国訪問時にソウル・プサンなどでも食べたが、この新大久保界隈をはじめ日本でもたまに口にする。
「ランチ・プゴク定食」(880円) ―― 写真の通り。
プゴクは、干し鱈のスープである。
僕が好んでいる、スープ系韓国料理の一つで、肉系ではコムタン、ソルロンタン、海鮮系では、普通の海鮮チゲと、このプゴクをよく食べている気がする。
干しダラ、長ネギ、豆モヤシに溶き玉子という感じだった。
干しダラはスープのダシとしても、具材としても機能する。
到着時、グツグツ状態。
立ち上る香りが、やや独特で、苦手な人は苦手だろうと思う感じ。
塩分少なめで、鱈と玉子の味わいがよく活きている感じの素朴なスープである。
韓国家庭料理的な雰囲気で、じんわり美味しい。
今まで食べてきた中でも上位の味わい。気に入った。
長い例のスプーンでカチャカチャやりながら、ご飯をすくい、スープに浸して食べる。
キムチやオイキムチなども共にする。
終盤は、そのキムチのタレまで入れて味変する。
素朴感からは当然に遠くなるが、何だか食事が締まる気がする。
寒い日には、こういう感じが、何ともはんなりする。
満足。
ごちそうさまでした。
食べログでは、別の「辛ちゃん」や、その「辛ちゃん２号店」なども登録されているのだが、この店も、隣に２号店、３号店と並んでいる。
まだ、登録すらされていないみたいだが、調理場が一つで、食事場所が３つに分かれている感じなのかも知れない。
よくわからなかったが、この店は、「辛ちゃん 本店」と書かれていた。
