新宿へ行った際に立ち寄りました。
生ケーキもありましたが、焼き菓子コーナーも広くて名店の焼き菓子がずらり。
後に用事があるので、予めチェックしていた京都で伺ったカステラドパウロさんのフルーツケーキをチョイス。
他階で開催していたフェアにもパウロさんが出店していた様ですが、行く時間が無くそちらは見られませんでした。。
商品を購入時に色々親切に説明してくれたりと、店員さんは笑顔の接客で好印象でした。
フルーツケーキ（カステラデパウロ）1,500円
風味ある砂糖を使った、柔らかな食感のケーキ。
バターと風味ある甘さに洋酒漬けフルーツが香り、かなり美味。
長く寝かせるずっしりタイプのバターフルーツケーキとは違い、
ふんわり優しい食感と風味ある甘さで、フレッシュなうちに食べきりたいタイプでした。
また行きたいと思いながら、再訪出来ていない京都名店のお菓子を食べられて大満足です。
また新宿高島屋を利用した際に、覗きに行きたいと思います。
