新宿からあずさに乗って長野県に行くような事態が僕にも稀にある。南口近辺で待ち合わせだったのだが改札の中にめぼしい店がなく、どこか無いかとふらふらと彷徨い歩いていたところ、ありましたー。中央の地下コンコースの7.8番線の付近にJR系列のベックスコーヒーショップが、トーストセットなどモーニングセットは四種あり、ソーセージポテトなるものをオーダー。
原材料を上手に使い回す関心なメニューで、ポテトサラダを挟み込んだホットドッグ。うむ、それなり。悪くない。
コーヒーをラージサイズにしてもらって、交通系ICカードももちろんカード決済もできるので、現金なくてもいける。
最近は現金のお店が随分減ってきて助かるけど、僕の友人関係で現金持って歩いてるやつはもはやほとんどいない。
JR系列はほんとに、朝早くから開いているからほんとに助かるけど、この労働力不足、人材不足の時代にメンバーの確保大変だろうな。おそらくサービスや笑顔のクオリティやオペレーションの見事さを見ても社員二人組でオープニングオペレーションをしている。
これは凄い生産性。長い行列あっと言う間に捌いて、次から次に客をほとんど待たせないすきのない見事なオペレーション。有能な人材たち。背の高い男性と後ろにポニーテールしているキビキビした女性、二人共カッコよすぎて惚れるわ。
