I wanted to go to Fuunji at least once. I knew that I wouldn't have to queue much at Ramen Street in Tokyo Station, but I thought that if I wanted to really evaluate it, I should go to the main store. I started the queue at 7pm on a Sunday during the Golden Week holidays in May, with a total of 25 people waiting: 10 people inside the store, 10 people outside, and 5 people in the park across the street. In conclusion, I was able to eat in 20 minutes, even though I would have had to wait more than 30 minutes. This is because I was the only one of many groups of two or three foreigners, so I was able to get a seat. Even so, I had the impression that I had to wait quite a long time. It is a popular restaurant, as you would expect. The important thing is the taste: - No unpleasant taste for a seafood dish - Nicely put together - The large portion is not that large It is certainly delicious, but I'm not sure if it is worth lining up for so long. As someone who knows "Mensho Inosho" in Shakujii Park, I can't give it a high rating. I guess it's highly praised in foreign guidebooks. I think the reason we had to wait was because we were a group of foreigners who were not good at using chopsticks and we had to drag on until everyone finished eating, and the turnover rate was low. I've seen people line up longer than usual before, so I think I'll be fine next time.
