お昼ごはん
【食べログ定食百名店2021】
■さばのみりん干し定食 ¥950（税込）
炭火で焼いた魚串とお肉が自慢の『炭火焼専門食処 白銀屋』。『こがね屋』も含めると都内に結構な店舗数があるが、西新宿にある本店は、食べログの定食百名店にも選出されています。
平日の11:50頃に訪問。すでに店内はほぼ満席。定食メニューは、焼き魚を中心に豚肉や鶏肉もあり。店頭で先に注文とお会計をすませるシステム。本店限定の「さばのみりん干し定食¥950」を注文。定食メニューは基本¥1,000以内であり、安い。
9〜10分ほどで到着。さばのみりん干しに、ひじきの小鉢、お新香、味噌汁、白ごはん。さばのみりん干しは、皮目に焦げ目がしっかり付いた焼き加減。もはや、若干焦がしてるのでは笑。みりんの味付けがしっかり漬けられていて、白ごはんと欲す味わい。大根おろしでさっぱりといただくのもいい。
『白銀屋』の良いのは、昼も夜もその焼き魚定食が味わえるところ。新宿駅から少し遠いのはマイナスだが、十分徒歩圏内。新宿界隈で覚えておくと良い店だろう。
