朝食に食べるパンを考えながら伊勢丹さんに向かう途中急に、明日はあんバターの日だ！と思いました。
お店は新宿伊勢丹さんの地下にあり、ベーカリーが並ぶ一角にあります。
通路に面したところにショーケースがあり、いろいろな種類のパンが並んでいます。
あんバターはバターが入っているだけあり、冬季限定のようです。
多分ですが。夏に見たことがなかったので。
割と人気なパンなので売り切れもよくあひますが、この日は無事に最後の一個がありました。
レジに並び、順番が来てから「あんバターで」と注文。
ささっとお会計をしてテイクアウトです。
パンは中を温めてから表面を焼いて食べることが多いのですが、あんバターなので温めすぎるとバターが溶け出してしまいます。
一回やってしまい後悔しました。
ので、表面を少しだけ温めていただきます。
少し張りのあるパン生地の中にたっぷりとあんことバターが入っています。
バターの食感は柔らかで、手で持つと中から出てくるぐらいの柔らかさです。
あんことバターをうまく食べつつ、かみごたえのあるパン生地と一緒にいただきました。
