東新宿駅から抜弁天方面に向かって、消防署の隣くらいにポツンと地味に存在しているインドネパール料理屋さん。
生ビール 290円のサービス券がポスティングされていたので、試しに行ってみることにする。
店内は、テーブル席が5卓ほどの狭さで、ちょっと窮屈感があります。
まずは、生ビールをオーダー。何杯飲んでも290円であることを現地の方らしきスタッフに確認します…笑
スタッフは、努めて会話を試みている感じで、フレンドリーとも言えます。
おつまみに、サモサ 750円とモモ 700円をいただきます。お値段は、やや高めの設定とお見受けしました。
食事は、ネパールのいわゆる定食「ダルバード 1800円」をいただきます。
3種類のカレーがつくからか、結構なお値段になっています。
ちなみに近所のサンサールでは、1500円です。私的には、サンサールの方が好みかもしれません。
カレーは、辛さを選べますので、スーパーホットをオーダーしますが、さほど辛くはありません。
ネパール料理は、一般に辛さはさほどではないと思いますが、ちょっと期待はずれでした。
とどめに「チョウメン 900円也」というネパール焼きソバをオーダーしますが、これはちょっと脂ぎっていて感心しませんでした。
