お昼は、FREMONT CURRY&DELIへ。
以前に店先を通ったときに、「いらっしゃいませ、奥、空いてますよ」とインド訛り（？）の日本語で声を掛けられ。
機会があったら立ち寄ってみようとその時は思い、今日はその機会。
店内に入り、空いている席に案内され、メニューを広げます。
セットはカレー1種類の900円、2種類の1,000円、レディースセットの900円、ダルバーセットは1,500円。
カレーは本日のカレー、バターチキン、チキン、マトン、チキンキーマ、いろいろ野菜、四種の豆、
ほうれん草パニール、ほうれん草チキン、ほうれん草マトン、シーフード、グリーンカレーから選べます。
辛さは甘口から激辛まで五段階、ドリンクはラッシーやチヤ、コーヒーから選れべます。
店内はテーブル席のみで、6人は座れそうなテーブルが3卓、4人は座れそうなテーブルが3卓。
先客は6人、後客は4人、店先にはテイクアウト客が数人。
程なくして、カレーセット900円、カレーは本日のカレー、辛さは辛口、ドリンクはラッシー。
本日のカレーは店内に掲示され、今日はナスチキンカレー。
トレーからはみ出すほど大きなナン、カレーとサラダとデザート、ドリンクは先に運ばれています。
熱々のナンを手でそのままちぎるのは熱いけど、熱いのは最初の1回くらいで、2回目からはちょっと熱いくらい。
これまではちぎったナンにカレーを乗せて食べていましたが、今日は途中からカレーに沈める感じで。
辛口ってほど辛くはないけど、様々なスパイシーをブレンドされたカレーの味わいが心好い。
サラダのドレッシングは気持ち濃いめ、カレーに味わいを会わせてあります。
食べ終わったら、デザート。
ほんの小さいお皿に少しだけですが、あるとないとでは大違い。
美味しくいただき、ご馳走様でした。
