I've been looking for a restaurant in my neighborhood where I can enjoy decent food and wine in a casual atmosphere, and I finally found it. (I will post a review of my two visits) ① Appearance, atmosphere, interior, etc. of the store About 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station. It's hard to find because it's on the second floor of a small multi-tenant building. The stairs leading to the store entrance are narrow and dark, making it difficult to enter, but the inside of the store is extremely comfortable. In addition to table seats, there are also counter seats, so you can feel free to enter even if you are alone. The large windows give it an open feel, and you can enjoy your meal while watching the people coming and going in the bustling streets of Shinjuku 3-chome. ②About the food <First visit> It's my first time at the restaurant, so I'd like to see how things are going... "Homemade Pork Ham" We use strong-flavored pork thighs to create a moist and tender ham. The sweet fat has a low melting point and melts in your mouth. There are two types of mustard on the side: Dijon and old, and you can enjoy the different sourness of each. The sauce made with green olives also has a slightly bitter taste, giving it a grown-up feel. “Shizuoka Shirasu Salad with Karasumi” First of all, I was surprised by the volume. Is it because the chef wants you to eat lots of vegetables? There are also a wide variety of vegetables used. It also contained red daikon radish, paprika, and bamboo shoots. Leafy vegetables are also fresh and crispy. Good accents include the flavor of whitebait and the richness of mullet. “Homemade pickles” The vegetables are delicious. It has a mild sour taste and is easy to eat. “Homemade Bacon Amatriciana” Finish with pasta. I asked for spaghetti. The bacon is cut into large pieces and has a nice aroma and is light in fat. It's also delicious that the flavor of the bacon soaks into the eggplant ingredients. I also liked the mild sour tomato sauce. The couple seemed to like it so much that they made their second visit soon after. “Seasonal Vegetable Salad” It is no exaggeration to say that we are here to replenish ourselves with a wide variety of fresh raw vegetables (lol).This time, we have a “drinkable salad” that includes plenty of Prosciutto and goes well with wine. did. “Baked pate de campagne” This was my first time having baked pate de campagne, and it was so delicious! ! By grilling, the flavor of the meat is concentrated. Yes, it tastes better when baked. “Grilled Potatoes with Ricotta Cheese” A type of potato called Shadow Queen that is grilled and served with ricotta cheese. Although it is simple, the simplicity of the potato itself and the high-quality ricotta cheese combine in a well-balanced manner, and the wine progresses. All dishes are carefully prepared and the saltiness is perfectly adjusted to match the alcoholic beverages. Also, there are many menu items that give you a glimpse of the chef's ingenuity, so you won't get bored and it's fun. The only disappointing thing is that each plate is large enough that two people won't be able to enjoy a lot of variety. ③About the staff's customer service The hall is mainly run by a bright and cheerful bearded master. Not only do they greet you and guide you to your seat, but they also explain the food and drinks in a polite and easy-to-understand manner, and the service is quick. I watched the customers carefully, and when I looked up to ask for more drinks, I was impressed to see that they were already close to my seat (and every time!). The chef is quiet, but has a wonderful smile. I imagine it must be difficult for one person to prepare so many items in a small kitchen, but there were no significant delays in the delivery of the food. ④About CP All the dishes were delicious and filled me up, and I also liked the wine they recommended. The warm customer service from the master made me feel at ease, and I felt very satisfied when I left the store. I think CP is good. Other things I noticed: It seems that there are many male regular customers. At first I felt like I was away, but thanks to the master's care, I was able to blend in quickly.
