2017年9月某日の12時過ぎに訪ねた。
西新宿五丁目駅から徒歩7,8分ほどの住宅街にある家庭料理の店「ロータス」。
店内は7割方客で埋まっていた。
カウンター席に1人で座り「天然ぶりの塩こうじ焼」¥800を注文。
5分と経たずに提供される。
小鉢料理がたくさん付いて800円の定食。
メインの天然ぶりの塩こうじ焼はそれ程塩分が強くなく、正に家庭料理の優しさ。ぶりのクオリティはそれなり。
イカと茄子のフライは良い揚げ加減。
食材の種類が多めで食べていて嬉しくなる。猛烈に美味過ぎることが無いというのが良いことなのかも。
夫婦で経営しているのだろうか。接客もアットホームな感じがして好感が持てる。
近隣ビジネスマンが続々と入店してくる「ロータス」。昼食を食べるにはちょうど良いありがたい店。
