平日の12時半過ぎだが、割と空いている。勤め人の数はちらほらで、どちらかと言えば年配客やマダムたちのランチといった感じだ。価格からすると勤め人のランチでもおかしくないのだが、新宿には安い店がたくさんあって、そちらが混んでいるのかもしれない。こういうところに不景気と賃金の安さを実感する。将来が不安だからなるべく金を使いたくないという心理になるのは当然だ。もっと安心して外食できる国造りをしてほしいものである。
入店すると、消毒お願いします、検温しますと、コロナ対策がきっちりとされている。マニュアル通りみたいな感じだが、感染症相手にはマニュアル通りにやるしかない。入口から正面に配膳ロボットが鎮座しているのが見えた。店はやや暗めで落ち着く。雰囲気はいい。
ランチメニューの中から濃厚デミグラス仕立てのミートソース900円とランチサラダ150円を注文。それにガーリックトースト100円と大盛り100円とで迷ったが、ミートソースということを考えてガーリックトーストにした。
注文してすぐにサラダをお姉さんが運んできた。150円にしては量があるし、葉っぱの他に紫キャベツ、赤玉ねぎ、プチトマト、それにミックスビーンズ（赤いんげん、エジプト豆、大豆）が入っている。それに人参などの野菜をすりおろしたと思われるオレンジのドレッシングがかかっている。このサラダはなかなか美味しい。白ワインがいけそうだ。
スパゲッティの提供は注文から12分後。今回もお姉さん。配膳ロボットが来たら写真を撮ろうと待ち構えていたが、次回に期待だ。ミートソースはメニューの通り濃厚だが、しょっぱくないので食べやすい。いい感じの濃さである。パスタの茹で加減はかなりアルデンテだが、徐々にソースを吸うので、全体としてはちょうどいい固さだと思う。ミートソースはどうしてもソースが余るから、そこでガーリックトーストの出番である。ソースを付けて食べると、最初からパンだけでもいいくらいに美味しい。大盛りよりもパンにして正解だ。井之頭五郎ばりの自画自賛。
初見の店だが、思いがけず美味しいランチをいただけた。このビルは割と美味しい店が揃っている。ご馳走様でした。
