A casual Italian Cuisine Restaurants for when you want to take a break
"La Pausa" means break time in Italian. This is an Italian Cuisine Restaurants that you can casually drop in to when you want to take a break. The pasta is made with carefully selected dried noodles, |
Why is Shinjuku always so crowded? I tried looking for a restaurant from Shinjuku South Exit to Sanchome, but I couldn't get in because of the usual excuses like "we're fully booked" or "we're fully booked now". I turned down a few places and ended up getting this!! Ah, I'm so thirsty Restaurants Beer Draft beer (Asahi Super Dry Pilsner 550 yen) What else should I get? Caesar salad (full size 800 yen) * The full portion was big enough for two people to share. Wild shrimp carpaccio (500 yen) * Hmm? It doesn't look like it does in the picture? The plate was so small. Fried spear squid with spicy aurora sauce (650 yen) Zeppole (400 yen) * It's just pizza dough mixed with green laver and fried - it might be a good snack!! Shrimp and broccoli Ajillo (with baguette, 700 yen) * We didn't want to waste the delicious oil left over, so we ordered some bread later. Additional baguette (150 yen) We still have some to drink. Zonin Ventitelle Soave (white, bottle, 2,300 yen) <Italian/dry> A refreshing taste with green apple, citrus and herbal flavors. We also ordered some snacks!! Spanish Prosciutto (430 yen) Fresh mozzarella caprese (450 yen) Eh!! It's already last order... So, to finish off the meal, we ordered a Margherita (950 yen) and some more drinks. House wine (carafe, 1,800 yen) We ordered a bottle and a carafe of wine, so the price per person was 5,000 yen, but we were pretty full so that was enough!! The group of young people next to us had the all-you-can-eat option. If you're hungry and there are a lot of people, you can't go wrong with the all-you-can-eat/drink option. The only drawback is that it takes a while for the food to be served after you order. Sometimes the bill comes before the entire menu is ready. (Maybe that can't be helped since the waiter robots are so useful.) Thank you for the meal.
