1803年、京都・上京区にて創業。今や、大きな街の百貨店を中心に、50軒近くにまで拡がっている、和菓子のチェーン店です。
何と云っても、人気商品は生菓子。
2014年 秋バージョンです。

その他、落雁、煎餅など、和菓子のバリエーションは豊富です。
さて、本日は、外国からのお客様用に、お茶受けを購入です。
■月兎 432円（税込）
山芋たっぷりの皮、寒天の赤い瞳、中にはこしあん。この可愛い見た目に、イチコロです。
■栗まろ 454円（税込）
栗の甘露煮が丸々一個、入ってます。その表面にこしあん、それわつくね芋の皮で包みました。
「これ、美味しいですね」とお客様に仰って戴きましたので、一先ず、お役目・全う。
流石、200年の伝統の力です。
一度、本店にも足を運んでみたいものです。
