夜の約束まで少し時間があってどこかでお茶をしたいなと思っていたときに入ったお店です。新宿の外れにあるスコップカフェさんは新宿三丁目駅、新宿御苑前駅が最寄り駅になります。
階段を降りて地下1階にお店があるので新宿の喧噪を離れてゆったり過ごすことができるのが良いですね。平日の夜に伺ったのですがお客さんは数組程度で静かにお茶をすることができました。
店内はほの暗くて目に優しい明るさのトーン。可愛い小物が随所に散りばめられつつもインテリアの色合いがシックなので落ち着いた雰囲気なんです。
◆ 沖縄県産完熟マンゴーのタルト ¥850
せっかくなのでスイーツが食べたいと思って本日のケーキをセレクト。この日のケーキは、沖縄県産完熟マンゴーのタルトでした。
タルトの上に大きなバニラアイスが乗っかっています。タルト生地の上にはマンゴーも敷き詰められています。マンゴーはフレッシュな状態ではないのかな。ドライマンゴーではなさそうなのですが、フレッシュマンゴーの瑞々しさがなかったのでちょっと分からなかったです。
ケーキ自体はそれなりに大きいのかなと思うのですがケーキのお値段としてはちょっと高めかなと思いました。パティスリーのケーキより高いのでコスパ的にはどうなのかなぁ。
◆ アイスカフェラテ ¥630
喉が渇いていたのでアイスカフェラテをセレクト。ミルク感が強いカフェラテかな。たぶんコーヒー豆はフルーティーなものを使用しているのかな。
