界隈で飲んだ帰り。
少し汁と麺を入れて帰りたい。
蕎麦が一番食べたいけど、富士そばはなあ。
嵯峨谷は撤退してしまったし。
ラーメン屋は豚骨か、濃い煮干ししかないし。
もっとあっさりしたものはないんかい。
そんな中、飲み屋で関西出身の人が「東京でもっと気軽に関西出汁のうどんが食べたい」と発し、誰かが「なか卯がいいですよ」なんて答えていたのを思い出す。
「なか卯」、最後にいつ入ったか記憶もないし、恐らくそれが人生の初なか卯だったはず。
外からメニューを見てみると、小さいサイズもあるみたいだし、いいかも。
券売機で更にメニューをチェックすると、あっさりとか言ってたくせに、「新カレーうどん」なんて見つけたら、これを頼まざるを得ない。
外国人女性2人でのオペレーション。
頭が下がるよね、外国で深夜まで働いてさ。
そう待たずして着丼。
お揚げ、葱たっぷり。確かに関西ぽい。
しっかり和の出汁を感じるカレー出汁。元を知らないので、何が「新」なのかわからないけど。辛みがないので七味を投下し、味をしめる。
もちもちのうどん旨し。
なか卯、ありかもしれない。
歌舞伎町からの帰り道にあるのがいい。
カレー担々麺なんてのも見つけてしまったのだが、15年も出してる人気商品なのね。
また寄るだろう。
売れてなさそうなホストがぞろぞろ。
ホストクラブも10時とは言わないけど、2時くらいで〆たりしているようだ。
