2018年4月某日の21時過ぎに訪ねた。
新宿駅と新宿三丁目駅の中間点辺りのビル5Fにある「アフターテイスト」。
店内は7割方客で埋まっていた。
店内の雰囲気は良いが、店に至るまでの案内がちょっと惜しい。安っぽい宣伝が店の雰囲気に合っておらず惜しい印象。
野菜がウリの店で、ドリンクでも生野菜を使ったカクテルがある。野菜好きな人には堪らない店だろう。
テーブル席に座り「キャベツのソルティードッグ」¥900を注文。
キャベツをちゃんと感じられるソルティードッグは優しい味ながら非常に良い味。
お通しも野菜を感じられるバゲット。
自家製スモークサーモン ¥780：ジューシーながらも燻製の風味を感じるクセの無いスモークサーモン。酒に合わせるにはちょうど良い一品。
野菜スティック ¥900：野菜の質の高さを感じられる一品。生野菜を堪能しつつ野菜カクテルを味わうことに喜びを感じる人にとっては最高の組み合わせ。
カクテルの値段がもうちょっと控えめだと嬉しい。ただ、野菜を堪能出来てそれ以外の料理にも満足できる良い店であることは間違いない。新宿エリアでは使い勝手の良いダイニングバー。
