KICHIRIは都内に数店舗あるダイニングバーだが、ここ新宿WEST店は新宿駅からのアクセスが良い。ちょっとだけ道は分かりづらいが、「110ビル」が地下道と直結しているので、雨の日も濡れずに行けるのが嬉しい。地下からエレベータを上がって、8階がKICHIRIだ。
KICHIRIの特徴は全個室。小さな個室から大きな個室まで幅広く揃えているので、新宿駅近くで距離感近く飲みたいときは候補の一つにしておくといい。
最初はビールで乾杯。お通しはれんこん。おつまみで色々頼んだけど、「とろ～り半熟たまごの スモーククラシックポテトサラダ」は美味しかった。タマゴとポテトと燻製って最高の組み合わせだよね。あとはメインで「総料理長自慢の特製ローストビーフ」と「塩レモン出汁 × 博多地鶏」を。博多地鶏は目の前で切り分けてくれるスタイル。ちょっとしたひと手間だけど、店員さんとのコミュニケーションもあるし、こういう演出っていいよね。
和風ラザニアとかもちょっとユニークで良かった。お餅とチーズってどっちもトロっとして相性もピッタリ。これをラザニアにするってのはいいアイディア。
新宿駅からのアクセスもよし、個室あり、料理もいいとくればやっぱりいい選択肢になりそう。
