ティーヌンに当たる、ってわけでもないでしょうが新宿の路地裏を徘徊中に見かけうっかり吸い込まれておりました。
こんぬつわ。と入店すると女性客が多く盛業中。女性店員に空いているテーブルに座るよう促される。
屋台料理のようなチョとした定食に麺類などが並ぶメニューから選ぶは時折カラダが求めて止まないトムヤムヌードル一択。セットのミニガパオは余分な糖質を避ける意味からもパスして麺が選択できたので幅広ピロピロ米麺の「センヤイ」をお願いします。ミニガパオは避けたけどランチはデフォルトでミニチャーハンがセットになっているんだとか。
女性店員さんが「紙エプロンいる？」と聞いてくれたのでここは安全策でマヌケな姿をさらすこととしました。
ほどなくして配膳。見るからにスッパ辛そうなスープにもりもりのパクチーとエビが3尾、だったかな。さっそくズルリときしめんのようなセンヤイを引っ張り出して啜ります。
むちむちモチモチの幅広麺はスープを程よくまとって食感も楽しく美味しい。想定通りの後味爽やかなスッパ辛いスープ、こちらもたっぷりと入った細もやしが好適なアクセント。
このトムヤムヌードルにセットになっているのはミニチャーハンと生野菜サラダ、ココナッツミルクにタピオカ。
スルーしようと考えていたミニチャーハンは見ればやや細長いタイ米を使ったシンプルタイプ。
興味をそそられてレンゲですくってひと口ふた口。見るからにパラリとして悪くないけど味付は単調なケミカル調味で半分も食べなかったかな。
出社することが減るとこういったエスニック系を食べる機会ってのがガクっと減るのですがムエタイ選手が丼をもって麺を持ち上げているムリ目のアイコンを使った当店など改めて蒸し暑い亜熱帯の新宿の路地裏にこそ似合うものだと思いました。
見ていると近所の勤め人（ほぼ女性）のテイクアウト利用も多そう。パッタイにガパオなんていかにもテイクアト向きですしね。
