6 minutes walk from the west exit of Shinjuku Station, 2 minutes walk from Shinjuku Dai Guard. There is a ticket shop on the corner of the Pachinko & Slot Kaleido building, so cross the street in front of it. Cross the traffic light and turn to your right. After about 10m, you will enter a small path. If you walk between Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Tengu-san and Tekete-san, you will find our restaurant on the right-hand side. It's on the 6th floor of the building where Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Motoyama and Ramen Kuromon are located. 113 meters from Shinjuku Nishiguchi. |

友人との飲みの二軒目。新宿西口、思い出横丁の少し先のエリアを散策して発見したお店。
全体的に落ち着いた雰囲気で、オーセンティック過ぎないお店だ。メニューもしっかりとあり明朗会計で安心だ。
一軒目でガッツリ食べてきたので、料理は軽くカルパッチョだけ注文。明らかに新鮮で臭みのない白身魚に濃いめの味付けとオリーブオイルの風味が美味しい。ちなみにこのお店は料理もかなりしっかりとしたラインナップがあり、普通に一軒目として使っても悪くなさそうだ。
お酒類がメインということで、まずは白ワイン。樽の効いた物が飲みたいと伝えると安定のナパの白が出てきて、これがまさに想像通りの味でレベルの高さを感じた。
その後はミントジュレップ。これはメーカーズマークで作っているようだが、クラッシュアイスにミントに甘味がしっかりあり優等生な一杯だった。
最後はとち狂ってロングアイランドアイスティーを注文。しっかり飲むとコーラをもちろん感じるのだが、しっかりレディキラーなアイスレモンティーになっていたと思う。
居心地良くコスパも良かったのでまた顔を出そうと思う。
