友人と新宿プリンスホテルのプリンスマルシェで開催されているランチブッフェに行ってきました。
新宿プリンスホテルって一瞬ピンと来なかったんですが、西武新宿駅の入っているこのビルがプリンスホテルなんですよね。以前は通勤で使っていたこともあるんですが(^_^;)
ちなみに右奥側に写っているのは最近オープンした東急歌舞伎町タワー。同じような高さに見えますが、東急の方が2倍以上高かったりします。
会場のプリンスマルシェはB2F。完全にホテルの一角というよりは、周囲の店舗とも半分繋がっているような感じなので逆にちょっと分かり難かったり。
店外（少し離れたサブナードの方）に出ていた立て看板。BistroBuffetxHOKKAIDOということで、北海道の食材をテーマにしたランチブッフェが開催されていました。週末だったので4,500円、これにラクレットチーズ食べ放題+500円を付けて更にサービスチャージが13%乗るというなかなかのお値段です。
店内の様子。お店は11:30〜で開店と同時に入ったのでがらがらですが、お昼時間にはほぼ満席になっていたかと。ちなみに時間制限はなしで、ラストオーダーが14:30、閉店が15:00です。
ちなみにテーブルには塩コショウが置かれていましたが、あのPeugeot（プジョー）の品でした。もともとは製鉄業だったとは聞いていましたが、コーヒーミルなどもかなり初期から作っていたようですね。
お料理はこんな感じ。
北海道らしく海鮮やちゃんちゃん焼き、ラーメンサラダなども用意されていました。
頂いたのはこんな感じ。
デザートもしっかり頂きました。
お味の方は・・・全体的にどれも美味しいなと思えました。
その中でも印象的だったのはグリルした野菜の食感と味、甘味たっぷりのコーンスープに北海道らしいスープカレー。
ラクレットチーズは目の前で温めて削り出してくれるものだったのでインパクト大でした。相当に油分が強かったので早々沢山は頂けませんでしたが。
名前は違うかも知れませんが、カボチャのプディングってところでしょうか。
そういえば、スタッフさんが色々とお勧めしてくれていたのが印象的でした。「海鮮丼にもできますよ〜」とか「ローストポークいかがですか〜」とか。ホテルのビュッフェでこういうのは意外と珍しいですね。
全体的に味も良く、普段頂く機会が少ない北海道の食材や料理を頂けたので満足感は高いんですが、如何せんお値段が・・・
