新宿になりながらすぐ近くには歌舞伎町もあるはずなのに、都会の喧騒を忘れさせてくれる小さな和風の隠れ家な感じのお店です。落ち着いていい感じです。小滝橋通りから中の方に入っていくので初めて行くには見つけにくいかもしれません。でもきっと美味しいうなぎが食べられるという期待が膨らみます。メニューを見るとさすがうなぎ専門店というだけあってうな重から白焼きまで上～極上までランク分けしてありました。勿論お腹を空かせて来てますから、大きめの当店一番人気らしい特上うな重を選びました。お酒を飲みながら待とうと思ったら、普段なかなかお目にかかれない焼酎や日本酒など豊富にあって驚きました。飲み比べとかしてみたいですね。特上うな重は肉厚なふっくらして表面はいい焼き具合で、肝心な味の方は値段に見合うお味でおいしゅうございました。大将は成田から来たと言ってましたが、さすが日本有数のうなぎの本場の職人さんだなと思いました。また来たいと思えるお店でした。
