山口百恵ちゃん世代の中年男が激辛と戯れ、類類たる敗北をしたためる赤いシリーズ。
今回は池袋東武百貨店、8/3から8/8までの期間限定で行われている激辛＆カレーフェスからのレビューになる、8階の催事場は熱気に包まれていた。
〈AFURI辛紅・新宿サブナード〉
そのフェスの牽引役に思えたのがAFURI。
多くのお客さんで賑わってました。
阿夫利の新提案「辛紅」コンセプトのイメージリーダー的な役割店が新宿サブナード店。
なのでフェスで頂いた辛紅、こちらの店舗にレビューを挙げさせて頂きます。
◯辛紅つけ麺¥1390
◯辛さ5丁目「心頭滅却二重滝」¥50
フェス限定という冷やし辛紅らーめんにも惹かれましたが、真空手揉み麺を使ったつけ麺が美味い。
かすかに山椒の風味を感じるデュラム小麦太麺、魚介の和だしと醤油をベースに数種の唐辛子をブレンドした、と言う奥行きのある辛さのつけダレ。
ダレか止めて、ってなくらい箸が止まらない。
ちなみに心頭滅却〜二重滝（滝汗？）と脅された辛さ増しですが、そんなに辛い訳じゃないです、個人差はあるにせよまだまだ平和なレベル。
むしろ卓上にある味変カスタマーの「激辛どろ辣油」を足すと明らかに激辛に激変。
わたくしを心頭滅却に至らしめる紅い旅路はまだまだ続くやうだ。
