明るいうちからふらりと立ち寄った新宿にある焼き鳥居酒屋さん。入り口はオープンになっていて中の雰囲気もわかるし入りやすかった。お通しは3品でおいしいものが少しずつ。いろいろ食べたいからこういうの嬉しいな。焼き鳥は国産ブランド鶏の美桜鶏を扱っているそうでお店イチオシとのこと。焼き鳥の種類も豊富だし野菜焼きもいろいろあって迷っていたら焼き鳥人気ベスト5の張り紙が壁に貼り付けてあってそれを参考に頼むことに。ささみわさび、せせり、はつ、レバー、つくね串。ささみは全部で4種あるんだけど、オーソドックなわさびにしちゃった。焼き方はレアにしたんだけど新鮮だから臭みもなくって美味。全種類食べようかしらと思うほど。せせりとはつも塩でこれも最高だったな。レバーはお決まりのタレ。これはとろけるような食感でレバー嫌いでも食べられるって思うくらい絶品！大きな卵黄がついたつくね串もひとり1本食べるべき。ふらりと入ったお店でこれほど焼き鳥がおいしいとはちょっと驚きでした。これもおいしかった手羽先の甘辛揚げ。見るからにツヤッぽくおいしそう。外はカリッと香ばしく中はふっくら柔らかく甘じょっぱくってめちゃくちゃおいしい。焼き鳥以外のメニューも豊富にあっておすすめメニューから揚げナスのおろししょうがを。大きな大葉の下には大きなナスが隠れていて食べ応えたっぷり。揚げナスはタレが絶妙にしみていてこれはお酒がすすむやつ。うずらの卵と美桜鶏とししとうのピリ辛炒めめも追加オーダー。ピリ辛といっても見た目より辛くなくて食べやすくてちょいちょいつまむのにピッタリな逸品。さっぱりしたものも食べたくなりみょうがとごま油のサラダも。これお店の方におすすめを聞いて頼んだのだけれどシンプルだけどめちゃおいしい！エンドレスに食べられるくらいクセになるおいしさでさすがNo.1メニューです。シメはさつまいもスティック。厚くカットされたお芋はホックホク。いいお店でした。
