新宿駅西口から南口方面に向かうと甲州街道の手前に飲食店がひしめいているエリアがある。
夜一杯やるにもいい店がたくさんあるが、ランチや昼飲みが楽しめる店もたくさんある。
この日はランチ。
どこにしようか歩いていて、この店も前を通る。
何度か前を通り気になっていた店。
一杯くらいビールも飲みたいし、空いてそうなのでこの店にしよう。
店に入ると結構混み合っていて、レジ横の一人席に案内された。
壁に向かっての一人席。
あまり見かけないが、スペースを有効に使用しているという感じ。
ランチメニューは揚物系をメインにいくつかあるが、そんなにお腹が空いている訳でもないので、焼き鳥丼を注文した。
ハッピーアワーで生ビールも注文。
ビールが出てくる。
冷えたビールを飲みながらゆっくり待っていると、焼き鳥丼が出てきた。
店の雰囲気的に言うと思ったよりは時間がかかったが、ランチタイムで混みあっているから仕方ないだろう。
焼き鳥丼はどんぶりではなく、少し深目の皿に盛られている。
一口大に切ってある鶏肉が甘めのタレで味付けされている。
ご飯が熱々。
ご飯にもタレが染みているので、焼き鳥はもちろんご飯を食べながらでもビールが飲める。
鶏肉は思ったより柔らかい。
ボリューム感も丁度よく、焼き鳥丼と生ビールを完食。
ハッピーアワーとうこともあって、これで１０００円に満たないのは嬉しい。
