週末に東急歌舞伎町タワーに行ったが人が多くて「新宿カブキhall～歌舞伎横丁」を通ることもできなかったので再訪問し新しい施設を見学して楽しんだ。その帰りに昔あった「ロボットレストラン」の前を通ったが「ギラギラガールズ」になっていた。その先に焼鳥屋があり「当店おすすめ、月～木曜日、各219円、ジムビーム・ハイボール」のお得なお知らせに目が止まった。焼き鳥は1本165円からとリーズナブル。
大衆酒場である。「新宿カブキhall～歌舞伎横丁」よりもリアリティーであることを外国人の方に教えたい！お分かりの方もいて二組の観光客の方が訪問して焼き鳥を注文し軽く飲んで帰っていく。気軽に利用できて喜んで帰っていく様子を見て私も微笑ましかった。スタッフに話しかけている一人の観光客の人も「Good」って親指を見せて笑顔であった。フロアスタッフは外国人の方だったのだがよく相槌していたけど英語は話せたのかな？日本語はかなりのレベルであったが・・・。とっても感じの良いフロアスタッフである。
最初はビールでパーフェクトサントリービール 瓶605円を1本づつ注文。刺身5点盛り2,200円は鮮度が良く綺麗に盛り付けられていた。居酒屋で注文したくなるフライドポテト、ポテトサラダは食べるラー油となんと揚げ玉がトッピング。食感を出したかったのか？食感の面白い組み合わせ、ポテトは柔らかいものではなく半固ゆでであった。餃子はチーズ入ったものにしとろけるチーズが皮に包まり揚げてあった。これをケチャップでいただいた。たたききゅうりは良い味付けになっていて塩昆布が更に美味しさを増す。焼き鳥はもも、つくね、うずらの卵を二本づつ注文し、もも肉の柔らかさがいい。価格が安かったので期待していなかったのだが、これは「Good！」と言える。牛カルビ寿司（4個）990円は肉質が良くとても綺麗な色であり、さっと炙った肉が甘くシャリも美味しかった。ソース焼きそば495円を最近食べていなかったので注文した。インターナショナルなお店だが厨房にいる方は日本人の方でお料理のすべて味付けが良く綺麗な盛りだった。ジムビームハイボール219円を飲んだがサービスだったのか濃い目で得した気分であった。喫煙可能のお店だった。
