こちらの肉巻き串。
どれも美味しいが特に美味しいなと感じのはトマトの肉巻き。
強めの塩気が効いた豚肉と、トマトの自然な甘みが相性抜群。
肉と同時に野菜も食べたいと言う方にはオススメ。
【2枚目】
「串盛り 7本(748円)」
名物の焼きとんと、焼鳥がセットで楽しめるこちらの盛り合わせ。
全体的に塩気が強めに味付けされており、お酒とは相性が抜群。
個人的に特に好きだったのは、食べ応えのある豚トロ。
脂身豊富で、柔らかい食感が特徴的だった。
【3枚目】
「なすの丸焼き 2本(480円)」
季節のオススメメニューの中より、こちらのなすの丸焼きを注文。
なすは火が入ってトロトロになっており、甘味すら感じる。
鰹節の香りがなすの味わいとマッチしており、秋らしさ感じる一品だった。
【4枚目】
「サーモンネギ塩ユッケ(638円)」
こちらもオススメメニューにあった、サーモンネギ塩ユッケ。
脂の乗ったサーモンの甘みと、ネギ塩のジャンキーな塩気で、クセになる味わい。
上にはうずらの卵の黄身が乗っており、全体をかなりまろやかにしてくれる。
スピードメニューで迷ったらこちらがオススメ。

新宿のメインロードとも言える歌舞伎町一番街に面した場所にある「炭焼 やきとん酒場 TONTON 新宿店」さん。
こちらのお店は2022年11月と、まだそれほどオープンから経っていないお店。
2022年10月に上野にオープンした1号店での人気を引っ提げ、翌月にここ新宿にも2号店を出したのだそう。
特徴はやはり安さと雰囲気。
一本88円から楽しめるという、破格の焼きとんはもちろん、ドリンクもかなりお安く、コスパの良さは飲食店激戦区新宿でもトップクラスかと。
また、安さだけでなく、ネオンが輝く今風のネオ居酒屋な雰囲気がオシャレさも演出している。
この日は平日の19:30に訪問。
店内は1階と地下1階、そして2階にも座席があり、座席数は多いにもかかわらず、かなり埋まっている様子で、非常に人気が高いことが伺える。
新宿というと、安いが満足度が高くないお店や、安そうに見えて結構高いというお店も多い中で、納得のコスパのお店は実は少ない。
そんな中で、コスパが良く、普段使いに適したお店なので、候補リストに入れておきたいところである。
