On this day, I went to Shinjuku to see a movie with my friend. We reserved the restaurant in advance so that we could discuss our impressions of the movie. Both are popular items on the Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu - I love them too! The generous serving of salad with a slightly spicy dressing is sure to keep your chopsticks going. The tomato and okra vegetable roll skewers and the fried chicken also go well with sake. The Grilled offal served on a piping hot teppan (iron plate) has plumped up motsu (pork). Even my friend who usually doesn't eat motsu was pleased with the taste, saying, "It's delicious and doesn't have any smell! And what was most delicious was the thickly sliced Cow tongue! I didn't check which part of the tongue it was, but it was quite tender.
