寒風吹き荒れる凍りつくほどの寒い日だった。暖冬と言っても、寒い日はしっかりと寒いものだ。
さて新宿御苑前駅から徒歩で3分ほどで店に辿り着ける。チョコレートをモチーフにした外観が、近辺の風景とも調和が取れていて美しささえ感じる。
注文したもの
・特撰ガトーショコラ 3500円
箱のケースは重量感があり、どっしりとチョコが詰まっている。ナイフで一口サイズに切って食べた。濃厚なチョコレートが口の中一杯に広がる。甘みが凝縮されているせいか、コーヒーと一緒の方が、より楽しめるかもしれない。カロリーが高そうなので何日間かに分けて食べたが、まったく飽きも来ないのであっという間に食べ終えてしまった。
