I went to Matsuya near Shinjuku Gyoen. I thought that recent Matsuya restaurants are self-service, but this restaurant uses the old system. Matsuya is also a pioneer of the meal ticket system. I thought that they would reduce congestion by installing multiple meal ticket machines inside and outside the restaurant, but there was only one ticket machine and there was a long line. It doesn't always work out that way. I ordered a low-carb Gyudon (Beef bowl). The rice is replaced with salad, making it a great menu item that is perfect for a snack.
