[First visit on February 6, 2024] There was the ultimate Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant in the deep town of Shinjuku 2-chome. The location is about 5 minutes from both Shinjuku Sanchome Station and Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station, so it might be a good idea to stop by on your way home from seeing the cherry blossoms at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden this coming season. Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Onuki is a Noren-Wari version of Hamamatsu's Onuki, and the rub sauce contains plenty of sesame seeds. This is sprinkled on all the meat, and what makes it even more distinctive is that it is grilled on a distinctive round-hole griddle. All the meat is grilled by the staff with full attention, so you can concentrate on your conversation.
