ポイント消化で代々木駅前のネパール料理、オリエンタルテーブル アマへ。駅からすぐなのだけど、急な階段を上がって3階なので家賃が抑えられるんだろう。
なかなかおしゃれな店構え。お店からの駅前の眺めも素晴らしい。客層は近隣のサラリーマン。新大久保界隈とはだいぶ違う。
価格もだいぶ違う。ダルバートに1000円か。衝撃。
1000円もするだけあってダルバートは豪華。カレーはチキンかマトンが選べ、マトンに。お肉は臭みもなく柔らかく、とてもおいしい。新大久保あたりのワイルドな感じのとは一線を画している。ダルは大きな目の豆がたっぷり。これまた優しい味。ご飯は水分多め、柔らかく炊かれていて日本人好みな感じ。タルカリ、サグ、アチャール、ムラコアチャールなどがつき、大満足。品数は多いけど、ボリュームは控えめなのかな。意外とぺろりと行けた。
ドリンク付きなのでチャイを。デフォルトで甘い。
こういうのがかかれているあたり日本人向けで、ネパール料理を知らない人にもとっつきやすいのだろう。ちゃんとナンカレーもあり、オールマイティーに対応できる感じ。
