I stopped in for lunch at Code Kurkku in Yoyogi Village, close to Yoyogi Station. Yoyogi Village is in a mixed area and is a space where adults can relax while eating. Apparently a famous music producer was involved in the concept planning of this area and Code Kurkku. Code Kurkku is located at the back of Yoyogi Village. The space surrounded by greenery is just wonderful. Even though it was late, there were many female customers enjoying their meals indoors and on the terrace. As I was dining alone, I was guided to the music bar space on the left. I sat down heavily on a sofa at the back and checked the menu. It was a slightly late lunch for one person during a business trip, but I decided to go all out and order the lavish 5,000 yen lunch course. It consisted of the following six dishes. ○Seasonal antipasto ○Grilled bonito carpaccio with fig and shallot vinaigrette ○Beef shank stewed in balsamic vinegar with a touch of matcha ○Porcini and girolle mushroom crema "Tagliatelle" ○Homemade Hida beef Hamburg fond de veau with fresh tomato and herb sauce ○Espresso-flavored panna cotta French bread is served first, and you can eat as much as you like with olive oil. The seasonal antipasto was a cold pumpkin super, but it was a rich dish with a rich texture. The bonito carpaccio was a refreshing dish, like an appetizer. The thick bonito and figs match well. The beef shank stewed in balsamic vinegar looks compact, but when you put a knife in and break up the fiber of the beef shank, it's quite filling. The matcha topping reminds you that it's still an appetizer hors d'oeuvre. The pasta was tagliatelle, a type of noodle. It was well-mixed with the chunky mushroom ingredients, cheese, and creamy flavor. The main Meat Dishes was Hida beef Hamburg. It was a dish that I was looking forward to! However, I didn't feel that there was anything special about the ingredients or the cooking. It was unexpectedly soggy and the flavor was a bit dull. I was hoping for a rich, dense dish. Maybe it was just a coincidence? We finished the meal with panna cotta and coffee. The dishes were all carefully prepared, but compared to the lovely atmosphere, the quality seemed a little inferior. However, there is no doubt that it was a wonderful space where you can enjoy conversation while eating.
