行きたい行きたい！と思っていてもいつも混み合っているこちらのお店。
寒い日に覗いたところ空席がありやっと伺えました。
代々木駅から少し歩き、ほぼ新宿の飲食店区画の端っこにお店があります。
古民家をリノベーションした店内は趣きがあります。
どこのガラス戸を開けて良いのか分からず、ここに決めた！と引き戸を開けると正解でした。
一階にはカウンターが並んでいて、2階にも席があるようです。
カウンターにお邪魔してメニューをながめます。
お店の名前にもつ焼きと入っているから恐らく、もつ焼きがおすすめに違いない。
ので、もつ焼きの盛り合わせとビールを頼みました。
まずはビールの到着です。
外は寒いですが店内は暖かいので、少しづつ飲みながら串を待ちます。
お通しは大根の煮物です。
少し甘みのある出汁で煮込まれていて、寒い日にぴったりな温かいお通しです。
カウンターの中では配膳担当の人に串の名前を教えながら、頑張って暗記している様子が見えます。
私のお皿はそれから暫くしてからきました。
説明はしてもらったのですが、名前は覚えられず。
総じてもつ！な串を少しづついただきます。
全体的にコリコリとしていて、火が通り過ぎて硬くは無く適度な歯応えです。
一本ずつ味の付け方も違っていて、手間をかけているのかなーと伺えます。
串としては一本ではありますが、細かい部位を串に丁寧に通して焼いています。
少しだけ甘みを感じるタレによく合い、串から一個ずつバラして美味しくいただきました。
