Charcoal-grilled chicken parent and child stew set meal 890 yen We are happy to offer a lineup that is not often found on other Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) lunch menus, such as parent and child stew and soba noodles. Oyako-ni has a strong charcoal-grilled taste. The trick is to serve the seaweed on a separate plate to prevent it from getting wet. (Perhaps this was to show off the large number of items available.) The miso soup also has a lot of vegetables in it. Small dish of Simmered dish Ganmodoki and Chikuwa was cold, but it wasn't a problem. It also comes with pickles. I also appreciate the fact that you can drink as much hot tea as you like from the pot at your seat. It's not as filling as a regular Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl), but since it comes with Small dish, it's more satisfying than just a bowl. Although I didn't order it this time, I appreciate that the charcoal-grilled fish set meal and mini bowl change daily, so it looks like it would be good for everyday use. However, the price range is slightly higher than other Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) lunches. I don't have any complaints as they have put in a lot of effort to make it worth it...The inside of the restaurant is bright and clean, as it has just been renovated from another Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). There are basically no sofa seats, just simple chairs and tables reminiscent of a food court, but there are plenty of seats. The staff are also very efficient and keep an eye on the surrounding area, so they can quickly notice when you are ordering. I feel that they are considerate of me by setting up separate accounts without me having to say anything. There are a few solo customers, both male and female, so it seems like it would be easy for even one person to enter. Free Wi-Fi is also convenient.
