Part 444 of the Meals at Work series. After visiting a customer in Yoyogi to say New Year's greetings, I decided to go to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) MORI for lunch. The shop is located in building B1 near the intersection just west of Yoyogi Station, and the interior has a slightly subdued lighting and only seating at tables. When I visited, it was a little after 1pm and there were quite a few customers. There was one male and one male store clerk in the hall, and the male store manager was cheerful and nice. Today I ordered the MORI Soba Set Mini Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) Set. The food arrived in 7.8 minutes. The daily grilled fish was Saikyoyaki, so I was hesitant, but I decided to go for the soba and Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) set, which I recommend as the main dish. First of all, the soba noodles were served cold, zaru soba style, the dipping sauce was spicy with chili oil, the soba noodles were topped with seaweed, green onions, and sesame seeds, and the soba itself was chewy and good. Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) is mini in size, so it was about a bowlful, and the chicken had a charcoal flavor and was plump, and the egg was a little half-cooked, which was good. Next time I stop by, I'd like to try the grilled fish. By the way, payment is via PayPay.
